Nobody's Home

I could pick a flower just to send you
to see if somehow you could read my mind
the times behind we were befriended
till you unstrung the ties that bind

You're frozen in your ways
yes there is a price to pay
you leave no room for forgiving
it's an empty way of living
you don't see the things you do
hurt the other ones you knew
now you're living life alone
when you call
nobody's home

I could leave my heart out on the table
but I know that you won't give a damn
the way you thought of me has ended
and you're too cold to understand

You're frozen in your ways
yes there is a price to pay
you leave no room for forgiving
it's an empty way of living
you don't see the things you do
hurt the other ones you knew
now you're living life alone
when you call
nobody's home

I could try and I could fail again
but i've been down that road too many times my friend

You're frozen in your ways
yes there is a price to pay
you leave no room for forgiving
it's an empty way of living
you don't see the things you do
hurt the other ones you knew
now you're living life alone
when you call
nobody's home

Greetings Dan,

Great Stuff.

I was looking at your profile, especially your favourite books. Those books shaped me when I was younger..

Thanks, Rod!...I was in my 20's and 30's when i read most of them...When i was younger i spent too much time reading the encyclopedia!

I'm glad you stopped by...I have returned to the world of BOINC...I'll be back crunching E@H sometime soon...See you on the boards.

Really like this one - do you put many of your lyrics to music?
